SpokeFest's Park Loop and Bike Rodeo is a one mile bike ride set against the scenic backdrop of Riverfront Park and the tranquil banks of the Spokane River. Amidst the safety and serenity of the park a journey unfolds. Designed to empower families and their young children to become active in cycling, the Bike Rodeo introduces beginning cyclists to the basics of bicycle safety and rules of the road. Utilizing a SpokeFest passport, cyclists are encouraged to stop at various stations along the ride where they will learn bike safety, get their face painted and shake hands with some of Spokane's famous mascots.
